Product Specific Information
- Store vial at -20°C prior to opening.

Anti-Eg5 is directed against the human Eg5 protein. A BLAST analysis suggests reactivity with human. Cross-reactivity with Eg5 from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
This gene encodes a motor protein belonging to the kinesin-like protein family. Members of this family are involved in spindle dynamics. The Eg5 protein functions in chromosome positioning, centrosome separation, and establishing a bipolar spindle during cell mitosis.
