Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades, regulating cell growth and differentiation.
It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, membrane depolarization, and calcium influx.
Phosphorylation at serine residues 218 and 222 by Raf1 activates Mek1.
MAP2K1 plays a role in stress response signaling, apoptosis, and proliferation induced by cytokines.
Mutations in MAP2K1 are associated with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
