Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MDM2 protein regulates p53 stability. MDMX (also known as MDM4) inhibits MDM2-mediated p53 degradation by forming distinct complexes with MDM2. The MDMX gene is often amplified in malignant gliomas. ARF interacts with MDMX to sequester it in the nucleolus, enhancing p53 transactivation. MDMX expression can counteract MDM2-targeted degradation of p53 while maintaining suppression of p53 transactivation. MDMX also binds p73, increasing its stability, contrasting with p53 regulation.
