This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Cellular uptake of iron occurs via receptor-mediated endocytosis of ligand-occupied transferrin receptor into specialized endosomes. Endosomal acidification leads to iron release, and the apotransferrin-receptor complex is recycled to the cell surface. Transferrin receptor is essential for erythrocyte and nervous system development. Serum transferrin receptor (sTfR) is used in detecting EPO misuse and diagnosing various anemias, including those associated with rheumatoid arthritis, pregnancy, irritable bowel syndrome, and HIV infection.
