Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
GFI1 is a nuclear zinc finger (ZF) transcriptional repressor involved in hematopoiesis and inner ear development. It has been implicated in lymphomagenesis. GFI1 expression is regulated by the ubiquitin-proteasome system, and the ubiquitin ligase Triad1 interacts with its DNA-binding domain.
GFI1 represses transcription by binding directly to consensus DNA sequences in target gene promoters. Deficiency of GFI1 leads to neutropenia and accumulation of granulomonocytic precursor cells, resembling myelodysplastic syndrome in mice.
