For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Activation of signal transduction pathways by growth factors, hormones, and neurotransmitters is mediated by MAP kinases ERK1 and ERK2.
ERK proteins are regulated by dual phosphorylation at specific tyrosine and threonine sites within a Thr-Glu-Tyr motif.
The protein kinase p56 KKIAMRE is distantly related to the MAP kinase group and closely related to p42 KKIALRE.
KKIAMRE is predominantly expressed in testis, kidney, brain, and lung, containing the conserved MAP kinase dual phosphorylation motif (Thr-Asp-Tyr).
It is activated by EGF treatment, but unlike other MAP kinases, its EGF-stimulated kinase activity does not require phosphorylation at the Thr-Asp-Tyr motif.
