Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK)는 세포 스트레스 및 염증성 사이토카인에 반응하여 활성화되는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제 계열 단백질입니다.
이 단백질의 활성은 p38α 및 p38β에 의해 조절되며, MAPK1/ERK, MAPK14/p38α, MAPK11/p38β 등에 의해 인산화되어 활성화됩니다.
In vitro에서 HSP27 단백질을 생리학적으로 관련된 부위에서 인산화시킬 수 있습니다.
두 가지 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
