Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of NEDD4L only when phosphorylated at Ser479.
Target Information
NEDD4L is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that transfers ubiquitin from an E2 conjugating enzyme to target substrates. It inhibits TGF-beta signaling by promoting ubiquitination and degradation of SMAD2 and TGFR1. NEDD4L also facilitates ubiquitination and internalization of plasma membrane channels (ENaC, Nav1.2–1.8, Kv1.3, EAAT1, CLC5) and promotes degradation of SGK.
