- Detects endogenous p47phox protein at approximately 45 kDa.

Target Information
p47phox (NCF1) is essential, along with NCF2 and membrane-bound cytochrome b558, for activation of the latent NADPH oxidase complex. This enzyme complex generates superoxide anion upon activation. Mutations in the NCF1 gene can cause chronic granulomatous disease.
