Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
HBXIP, also known as XIP, belongs to the HBXIP family. It was originally identified by its interaction with the C-terminus of hepatitis B virus (HBV) X protein (HBx). HBXIP regulates centrosome dynamics and cytokinesis, and upregulates S100A4 through activation of STAT4 and induction of DNA methylation of PTEN. HBXIP is a cellular 18 kDa protein and stains cytoplasm.
