- Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF): Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer (pH 6.0) or Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) is recommended for FFPE cell sections.
Target Information
BRD7 acts both as a coactivator and as a corepressor. It activates the Wnt signaling pathway in a DVL1-dependent manner by negatively regulating GSK3B activity. In addition, BRD7 is required for TP53-mediated cell-cycle arrest in response to oncogene activation. It promotes acetylation of TP53 at Lys-382, enhancing TP53 recruitment to target promoters and inhibiting cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase.
