Target Information
AXL은 만성 골수성 백혈병 관련 종양유전자로, 대장암 및 흑색종과도 관련이 있습니다. AXL 단백질은 세포외 기질로부터 성장 인자 신호를 세포질로 전달하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제로, 세포 증식 자극에 관여합니다.
TAM 수용체는 세포사멸(apoptosis) 세포의 식작용(phagocytosis)에 관여하며, TAM 수용체가 결핍된 마우스는 자가면역성 질환(SLE 유사)을 보입니다.
또한 AXL은 필로바이러스의 세포 진입 수용체로 작용할 수 있으며, 특정 인간 혈액 수지상세포 하위집단(Siglec 6+/Axl+ DCs)의 마커로 사용됩니다.
AXL 발현은 LPS 또는 poly I:C 같은 TLR 리간드에 의해 증가할 수 있으며, 용해형 AXL은 막형 단백질의 단백질분해 절단으로 생성됩니다. 혈장 내 용해형 AXL 농도 증가는 염증 및 암의 지표가 될 수 있습니다.
