Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
SP1 is a transcription factor that can activate or repress transcription in response to physiological and pathological stimuli. It binds with high affinity to GC-rich motifs and regulates the expression of numerous genes involved in cell growth, apoptosis, differentiation, and immune responses. SP1 activity is regulated by post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation, sumoylation, proteolytic cleavage, glycosylation, and acetylation. It also binds the PDGFR-alpha G-box promoter and may modulate cellular responses to DNA damage. SP1 is implicated in chromatin remodeling and plays a role in recruiting SMARCA4/BRG1 on the c-FOS promoter, as well as in regulating FE65 gene expression.
