• For IHC (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

The constant (C) regions of immunoglobulins are relatively conserved sequences beyond the variable regions and are present in both heavy and light chains. Carbohydrate attachment sites are usually located in these C regions, which also stabilize the variable regions via disulfide bonds. The C regions facilitate antigen interaction by increasing immunoglobulin arm rotation. Studies indicate that patients with recurrent respiratory tract infections often exhibit low IgG4 concentrations.
