Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
The constant regions (C regions) of immunoglobulins are sequences beyond the variable regions and are present in both heavy and light chains.
These regions contain carbohydrate attachment sites and help maintain the structural integrity of the antibody via disulfide bonds.
C regions also enhance antigen interaction by increasing arm flexibility.
Low IgG4 concentrations are often observed in patients with recurrent respiratory tract infections.
