For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues:

• Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

The constant regions (C regions) of immunoglobulins are sequences beyond the variable regions, present in both heavy and light chains.
These regions:

• Contain carbohydrate attachment sites.
• Hold variable regions together via disulfide bonds.
• Facilitate antigen interaction by increasing arm rotation.

Studies indicate that patients with recurrent respiratory tract infections often exhibit low IgG4 concentrations.
