Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA). This 35–50 kDa molecule is anchored in the plasma membrane via phosphatidylinositol and is expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage. It has been reported that P-selectin (CD62P) binds to CD24.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Use at 5 µL (0.4 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
• Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails or single-color controls.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B-cells in bone marrow to mature surface Ig-positive B-cells. Plasma cell expression is low or absent. CD24 is found in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity.
