Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA). CD24 is a 35–50 kDa molecule anchored to the plasma membrane via phosphatidylinositol and expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage cells. P-selectin (CD62P) has been reported to bind to CD24.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage is 5 µL (0.8 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are incompatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability testing.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining and should be added to antibody cocktails prior to cell incubation (5 µL per sample).
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL of blocking buffer per 100 µL cell sample.

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology with engineered nucleic acid dye structures to minimize spectral spillover and improve fluorescence performance.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells to mature B cells. Expression is low or absent in plasma cells. CD24 is also found in B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It may play a role in B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity regulation.
