Target Information
Transforming acidic coiled-coil proteins (TACC family) are centrosome- and microtubule-associated proteins involved in cancer progression.
TACC2 localizes to centrosomes throughout the cell cycle and is linked to tumorigenesis.
Expression is induced by erythropoietin and may affect breast tumor progression.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
