Product #35519 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of mouse IgG and with the light chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
It is tested by solid-phase adsorption to ensure minimal cross-reactivity with human, bovine, horse, rabbit, swine, goat, and rat serum proteins. However, cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.

Store protected from light at 4°C.
For extended storage, add an equal volume of glycerol (final concentration ~50%) and store at -20°C.
DyLight 680: Amax = 682 nm; Emax = 715 nm. Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio is lot-dependent.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the target and provide versatility across multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence).
Signal amplification is enhanced as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, then further purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
