The A2F10 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD135, also known as Flk2/Flt3. This 135–150 kDa tyrosine kinase receptor is expressed by primitive progenitor cells in fetal liver and adult bone marrow.
Two-color staining of adult mouse bone marrow cells with A2F10 and RA3-6B2 (CD45R/B220) or M1/70 (CD11b) reveals Flk-2-positive subpopulations of B cells or myeloid cells, respectively.
Applications Reported: The A2F10 antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested in flow cytometric analysis of mouse bone marrow cells. Recommended use ≤1 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize antibody concentration for best results.

FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase in the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family.
Binding of the FLT3 ligand induces receptor homodimerization and autophosphorylation, activating signaling pathways that regulate apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells.
Constitutive activation mutations in FLT3 are associated with acute myeloid and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
