Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

PTAFR shows structural characteristics of the rhodopsin gene family and binds platelet-activating factor (PAF).
PAF is a phospholipid (1-0-alkyl-2-acetyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphorylcholine) implicated as a mediator in diverse pathological processes such as allergy, asthma, septic shock, arterial thrombosis, and inflammation.
