Cofilin은 F-actin과 결합하며 pH 의존적인 F-actin 탈중합 활성을 나타냅니다. 세포골격 역학을 조절하고, 정상적인 유사분열 및 세포질분열 진행에 중요합니다. 세포 형태 및 세포골격 조직 조절에 관여하며, ACKR2 수용체의 세포막 이동 및 케모카인 흡수 효율 증가에 필요합니다. 또한 신경관 형성과 신경능세포 이동에도 관여합니다.
