Target Information
CD276 (B7-H3) is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules. It is a type I transmembrane protein that promotes proliferation of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells, enhances cytotoxic T cell generation, and selectively stimulates interferon gamma production.
Expression can be induced on dendritic cells and monocytes by inflammatory cytokines and is also found in peripheral tissues such as heart, kidney, testis, and colon.
In humans, CD276 exists as two isoforms resulting from gene duplication and alternative splicing. It is reported to have therapeutic potential in cancer immunoregulation, particularly in combination with anti-angiogenic therapy.
