Target Information
CD276 (B7-H3) is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules. It is a type I transmembrane protein that induces proliferation of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells, enhances cytotoxic T cell generation, and selectively stimulates interferon gamma production. Expression can be induced on dendritic cells and monocytes by inflammatory cytokines, and is also found in peripheral tissues such as the heart, kidney, testis, and colon. In humans, CD276 exists as two isoforms due to gene duplication and differential splicing. CD276 has therapeutic potential for regulating cell-mediated immune responses to cancer, especially alongside anti-angiogenic therapy.
