Product Specific Information

The monoclonal mouse IgG2b is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications reported include immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes and should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
Filtered through a 0.2 µm membrane after manufacturing.

Target Information

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune response.
Composed of two heavy and two light chains, it participates in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It also regulates immune responses, including T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
Widely used in research and diagnostics such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic applications like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
