The monoclonal mouse IgG1 kappa immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype control.
Biotin Mouse IgG1 kappa Isotype Control has been reported for use in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.
This control antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral leukocytes and should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigen exposure. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity.
It consists of two heavy and two light chains and is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
Mouse IgG1 is used extensively in research applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
