Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature (RT).
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Cathepsin K는 뼈 재형성과 흡수에 관여하는 리소좀성 시스테인 단백질분해효소입니다. 이 단백질은 peptidase C1 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 주로 파골세포에서 발현됩니다. 또한 인간 유방암의 상당 부분에서도 발현되어 종양 침습성에 기여할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 골경화증과 저신장을 특징으로 하는 상염색체 열성 질환인 pycnodysostosis의 원인이 됩니다. RNA 편집을 받을 가능성이 있습니다.
