Product Specific Information

These polyclonal antibodies are of rabbit origin, developed by immunizing animals with specific proteins or peptides. The antibodies are affinity-purified from rabbit sera and tested for functionality in relevant research applications.
This antibody is intended for research use only and is non-hazardous and non-infectious.
Predicted to react with Monkey, Mouse, Rat, and Bovine.

Target Information

Calcyclin is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of various cell types and are involved in regulating processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation.
S100 genes include at least 13 members located in a cluster on chromosome 1q21.
This protein may function in Ca²⁺-dependent insulin release, prolactin secretion, and exocytosis. Chromosomal rearrangements and altered expression of this gene have been implicated in melanoma.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
