Target Information

GEF-H1 (ARHGEF2) activates Rho GTPases by promoting GDP-GTP exchange. Rho GTPases regulate key cellular processes such as epithelial barrier permeability, cell motility and polarization, dendritic spine morphology, antigen presentation, leukemic cell differentiation, cell cycle regulation, innate immune response, and cancer progression. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
