Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
MESDC2 functions as a chaperone assisting the folding of beta-propeller/EGF modules within the LDL receptor family. It modulates the Wnt pathway by chaperoning LRP5 and LRP6 to the plasma membrane. It is essential for embryonic polarity and mesoderm induction, and plays a critical role in neuromuscular junction formation by promoting LRP4 expression. MESDC2 may also regulate phagocytosis of apoptotic retinal pigment epithelium cells.
