• In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-20 R beta is observed.

Target Information

CD122 (Interleukin 2 receptor) is involved in T cell-mediated immune responses, primarily expressed in the hematopoietic system and exists in three forms:

1. Low affinity form – monomer of the alpha subunit (not involved in signal transduction)
2. Intermediate affinity form – alpha/beta subunit heterodimer
3. High affinity form – alpha/beta/gamma subunit heterotrimer

Both intermediate and high affinity forms are involved in receptor-mediated endocytosis and mitogenic signal transduction.
The CD122 gene encodes the beta subunit, a type I membrane protein.

Diseases associated with CD122 dysfunction include:

• Oligoarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis
• Rheumatoid factor negative juvenile idiopathic arthritis
