This SK10 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human MHC Class II HLA-DQ molecule.
HLA-DQ is a heterodimeric protein composed of an alpha (HLA-DQA1) and beta (HLA-DQB1) subunit, expressed on antigen-presenting cells such as B cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated T cells.
It plays a role in presenting peptide antigens to CD4+ T lymphocytes. Certain alleles of HLA-DQ are associated with celiac disease and type I diabetes.

Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test.
A test is defined as the amount of antibody that stains a cell sample in 100 µL final volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information

HLA-DQ is one of the HLA molecules belonging to MHC Class II surface proteins.
It consists of an alpha (DQA) and beta (DQB) chain, both membrane-anchored.
These molecules present extracellular protein-derived peptides to CD4+ T cells and are expressed in antigen-presenting cells (B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages).
Different DQ variants are grouped into serotypes recognized by specific antibodies.
HLA and MHC antibodies are important tools in immunopeptidomics, enabling identification and characterization of neoantigens via LC-MS/MS.
