Target Information
EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)는 다양한 성장 인자에 반응하는 receptor tyrosine kinase로, 여러 암종에서 과발현이 보고되어 있습니다. EGFR 유전자는 인간 염색체 7번에 위치하며, HER/ERbB 단백질군 (ERbB2, ERbB3, ERbB4 포함)에 속합니다. EGF 또는 TGF-α 등의 리간드 결합 시 EGFR 이합체화 및 세포질 도메인의 티로신 잔기 자가인산화가 유도됩니다.
과발현은 두경부, 뇌, 방광, 위, 유방, 폐, 자궁내막, 자궁경부, 외음부, 난소, 식도, 위 등 다양한 암종에서 관찰됩니다.
