Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine KC (CXCL1).
Anti-Murine KC (CXCL1)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Murine KC (CXCL1) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine KC (CXCL1) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required.
In conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Murine KC (CXCL1) (500-P115Bt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine KC (CXCL1).

Western Blot:
To detect Murine KC (CXCL1) by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL.
Detection limit for Recombinant Murine KC (CXCL1) is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL3 (also known as GRO alpha, GRO beta [MIP-2 alpha], and GRO gamma [MIP-2 beta]) are members of the CXC chemokine subfamily.
Mature CXCL1/2/3 proteins bind with high affinity to the IL-8 receptor type B and are potent neutrophil attractants and activators.
In vitro, processed forms GRO-alpha(4-73), GRO-alpha(5-73), and GRO-alpha(6-73) show approximately 30-fold higher chemotactic activity.
