The HA tag is a polypeptide with the amino acid sequence YPYDVPDYA that can be added to a target protein using recombinant DNA technology. It can be fused to the N-terminus or C-terminus of the protein to facilitate detection and purification. An anti-HA tag antibody is a useful tool for the analysis of HA-tagged proteins.

It is suitable for detecting the expression level of HA-tagged proteins. iFluor 488 is a bright and photostable fluorescent dye, serving as an excellent alternative to Alexa Fluor 488.

Target Information

HA Tag (hemagglutinin tag) is an epitope tag used to localize gene products in various cell types, study protein topology and complexes, identify associated proteins, and characterize newly identified or low-abundance proteins when specific antibodies are unavailable. HA (hemagglutinin) is a surface glycoprotein derived from influenza hemagglutinin, commonly expressed as a tag to aid in identification and purification of tagged proteins for functional analysis. HA tag antibodies facilitate protein detection and co-immunoprecipitation of tagged proteins.
