eB72-1665 항체는 인간 Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9)의 일부(aa 273–288)에 대해 생성된 Rat 모노클로날 항체입니다. TLR9은 주로 세포내에 존재하며, 비메틸화 CpG DNA에 반응하여 강한 Th1형 염증 반응과 B세포 증식을 유도합니다. TLR9 결핍 마우스에서는 염증성 사이토카인 생산과 수지상세포 성숙이 저하됩니다. TLR 계열은 선천면역 및 염증 반응에 중요한 역할을 하는 type I transmembrane 단백질군입니다.
이 항체는 인간 혈액 또는 PBMC의 TLR9을 Flow Cytometry로 검출하지 못할 수 있으며, 이는 항원 검출 한계 때문일 수 있습니다. IL-3 존재 하에서 성숙된 인간 pDCs 및 특정 상피세포주에서 면역형광 현미경으로 염색된 사례가 보고되었습니다.
