Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K4 (MEK4) is a serine/threonine kinase of the STE7 family that phosphorylates and activates JNK1, JNK2, and p38. It preferentially phosphorylates the tyrosine residue of JNKs and is involved in cellular stress and inflammatory cytokine responses.
MAP2K4 plays a role in carcinogenesis; loss-of-function mutations have been found in lung and pancreatic tumors, while a pro-oncogenic role has also been reported.
