Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) ANGPTL2 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhAngiopoietin-1, rhAngiopoietin-2, recombinant mouse (rm) Angiopoietin-3, rhAngiopoietin-4, rmAngiopoietin-6, and rmAngiopoietin-7 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Angiopoietins are members of the vascular endothelial growth factor family and are growth factors largely specific for vascular endothelium.
Angiopoietin-1, -2, and -4 participate in blood vessel formation.
ANGPTL2 is another member of this family, widely expressed in adult tissues, especially in highly vascularized areas.
It is a secretory protein that does not act as an endothelial cell mitogen in vitro.
