Target Information

Phosphoglycerate mutase (PGAM)은 해당과정에서 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PGA)를 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PGA)로 가역적으로 전환하는 반응을 촉매합니다.
PGAM은 이합체 효소로, 근육(MM), 뇌(BB), 혼합형(MB) 이성체로 존재합니다.
PGAM2 유전자는 근육 특이적 PGAM 소단위를 암호화하며, 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 muscle phosphoglycerate mutase deficiency (glycogen storage disease X)를 유발합니다.
