Target Information
EEF2 catalyzes the GTP-dependent ribosomal translocation step during translation elongation. This process moves peptidyl-tRNA and deacylated tRNA from the A and P sites to the P and E sites, respectively, enabling coordinated movement of tRNA, mRNA, and ribosomal conformational changes.
