NOR-1 (NR4A3)는 NR4 신경 성장 인자 유사 수용체로, 신경 발달, T 세포 세포사멸, 암 발달에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. NOR-1은 NBRE (NGFI-B response element)에 결합하여 pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) 유전자를 조절합니다. NOR-1은 다양한 자극에 의해 빠르고 일시적으로 유도되며, NOR-1 및 다른 NGFI-B 계열 단백질의 발현 감소는 약물 중독 성향과 연관되어 있습니다. 인간 단백질의 세 가지 isoform (NOR-1, NOR-1β, NOR-1 3’ variant)이 보고되어 있습니다.
