Target Information
Human SUG1 (also known as p45, Rpt6, Cim3) is a component of the 19S regulatory subunit of the 26S proteasome complex. It belongs to the AAA ATPase family and participates in the ATP-dependent unfolding of ubiquitinated proteins. It also interacts with the nucleotide excision repair protein XPB.
