Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Tight junctions are essential for cell-to-cell adhesion in epithelial and endothelial tissues, forming continuous seals that regulate paracellular permeability. CLDN6 encodes a tight junction component within the claudin family, functioning as an integral membrane protein. It also acts as a cofactor for hepatitis C virus entry. Aberrant methylation of this gene may be associated with esophageal tumorigenesis. The CLDN6 gene is located adjacent to CLDN9 on chromosome 16.
