Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. It is preferentially expressed in mature B lymphocytes and may play an important role in B cell development and autoimmune responses. This receptor specifically binds to TNFSF13B/TALL-1/BAFF, leading to NF-kappaB and MAPK8/JNK activation. It also interacts with TRAF family members, contributing to cell survival and proliferation signaling.
