Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The SPRY2 gene encodes a protein of the sprouty family that contains a carboxyl-terminal cysteine-rich domain critical for inhibiting receptor tyrosine kinase signaling. It is required for growth factor–stimulated translocation to membrane ruffles and is transiently upregulated by fibroblast growth factor 2 in dermal endothelial cells. SPRY2 plays a regulatory role in EGF receptor/MAPK signaling and may contribute to alveolar branching during lung development.
