For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Factor XII is a single-chain zymogen that converts into a two-chain serine protease composed of a heavy chain (α-factor XIIa) and a light chain.
The heavy chain includes fibronectin-type domains, EGF-like domains, a kringle domain, and a proline-rich domain, while the light chain contains a catalytic domain.
Activation involves further cleavage in the heavy chain, producing β-factor XIIa. Factor XII initiates blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, and the generation of bradykinin and angiotensin, and activates coagulation factors VII and XI.
Defects in this gene result in prolonged clotting time without clinical symptoms.
