Product Specific Information
This antibody shows 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse DR3/TNFRSF25 and no cross-reactivity with recombinant human 4-1BB, CD27, CD30, CD40, DR6, BAFF R, Fas, GITR, LTR beta, NGF R, OPG, OX40, RANK, TAJ, TNF RI, TNF RII, or HVEM.
Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
DR3/TNFRSF25 is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. It is preferentially expressed in lymphocyte-rich tissues and may regulate lymphocyte homeostasis. DR3 stimulates NF-kappa B activity and influences cell apoptosis through death domain-containing adaptor proteins. Mouse knockout studies suggest its role in removing self-reactive T cells in the thymus. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, many encoding secreted isoforms. In activated T cells, alternative splicing shifts toward full-length, membrane-bound forms, contributing to lymphocyte proliferation control.
