Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

ACCN1 encodes a member of the degenerin/epithelial sodium channel (DEG/ENaC) superfamily.
These amiloride-sensitive sodium channels have intracellular N and C termini, two hydrophobic transmembrane regions, and a large extracellular loop rich in cysteine residues with conserved spacing.
The encoded protein may play a role in neurotransmission and can form heteromeric proton-gated channels with ACCN3 (variant 1) that are sensitive to gadolinium.
