Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD4 antigen is a co-receptor for MHC class II molecule recognition and HIV binding. It is primarily expressed on T helper cells and other immune cells such as monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells.
Tissue expression includes thymus, lymph nodes, tonsils, spleen, and certain regions of the brain and gut.
CD4 assists in T-cell activation via interaction with the T-cell receptor complex and Lck kinase, and may mediate neuronal damage in immune-related CNS diseases.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcripts have been identified (RefSeq, July 2017).
